New Web Site Launched for Science Teacher Literacy

Nebraska K-12 science teachers have access to many resources to support teaching and learning in their classrooms and labs. A new Web site was launched to document available resources to support science education in Nebraska schools. The site is organized into three major resource categories:

• Science teacher tools
• Student enrichment
• Student science competitions

The Web site was developed as part of the University of Nebraska’s strategic planning, for which Bio Nebraska has served as a community resource. The Web site is located at http://www.unmc.edu/scienceteachers.htm and is a resource for any individual interested in science education.
