University of Nebraska at Kearney joins Bio Nebraska (April 10, 2009) Bio Nebraska is pleased to welcome University of Nebraska at Kearney as its newest member. Located in Kearney, Nebraska, The University of Nebraska at Kearney is one of the four campuses of the University of Nebraska system. With approximately 6,500 students from around the world, it provides a rich and diverse campus life and a personal experience for its students. With 170 undergraduate majors, 25 pre-professional programs, and 34 graduate programs, the university emphasizes excellent teaching, scholarship, and service designed to foster student learning. Accessibility to the programs of the university is advanced through extending off-campus educational opportunities through selected degree programs, continuing education courses, cultural outreach, and economic development activities.
