Bio Nebraska Welcomes New Member Midwest Veterinary Services/Central States Research Centre


Midwest Veterinary Services, Inc.(MVS)/Central States Research Centre, Inc. (CSRC), are Nebraska corporations under the ownership and management of Kelly F. Lechtenberg, DVM, Ph.D., in Oakland.

The MVS site was founded in 1988 and is home to animal facilities and feed milling capabilities. CSRC was established in 1995 and, since June 2009, has served as the site for the business offices of MVS/CSRC. CSRC has been equipped to conduct companion and laboratory species evaluations since January 2007 and has maintained AAALAC accreditation since October 2007. MVS and CSRC operate as animal health clinical investigation organizations, performing contracted product evaluations primarily on studies involving cattle and swine (approximately of equal ratio) with IACUC and IBC oversight.
