Vireo Resources joins Bio Nebraska
(March 19, 2009; Omaha, NE) Bio Nebraska Life Sciences Association welcomes new member, Vireo Resources, a manufacturing plant that opened in Plattsmouth, Nebraska in January. The plant will be blending nutrients in its cleanroom facility as a pre-step to its main function of making capsules for supplement forms. Vireo Systems, the parent company for Vireo Resources, is located in Madison, Tennessee. Over the past several years, they have had a partnership with the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) and located this facility within Nebraska to be geographically close to the university. “We are pleased to welcome Vireo Resources to Nebraska,” said Amy Recker, executive director of Bio Nebraska Life Sciences Association. “It is an outstanding example of the strength of the private/public partnerships developing within our state.”
