A Productive Meeting and Tour with Transgenomic and Bio Nebraska

Bio Nebraska members braved the ice and enjoyed a great meeting and tour at Transgenomic on January 20. We learned more about Transgenomic’s WAVE system, techniques and efforts to work toward early cancer screening from President and CEO, Craig Tuttle. Bio Nebraska Chairman Jim McClurg discussed the history of Bio Nebraska and highlighted the importance industry leaders, such as Transgenomic, play in our state. Executive Director Amy Recker provided an update on the Nebraska bioscience strategic plan that Bio Nebraska is partnering with the State Legislature to develop.
